Sex: Its True Meaning

Sex is the physical union of a man and a woman for the purpose of enjoying physical intimacy with or without the intended aim of having progeny. In other words, it is the act of making physical oneness. In the days gone by sex was what followed naturally, a marriage and was considered sacred in all cultures. Pre-marital sex and extra-marital sex are shunned by all holy books including the Bible, the Gita and the Quran. However, since the breakdown of traditional family values and family  set-ups, sex has become corrupted with just being a source of deriving sensual pleasure and has lost as a loving phenomenon, chiefly in the West. Sex today is business, with the sex industry operating in most countries of the world.
